Guest Tim78zt
Is it really important to move my BOV between my TB and IC or can I leave it just in front of the compressor? Remember this is my new IC install with the pics down a few topics. The BOV used to have a nice crisp whip-cracking sound to it, but now it sounds like an old guy passing wind. I guess because the charge-air is traveling backward through the IC. Am I hurting anything by leaving it this way? Thanks!!! Tim78zt
Guest Anonymous
Tim, I have my BOV mounted, like you said between the return line and the TB. The reason why is so when the turbo is producing boost the bov will not leak any boost(some bov's dont so it does not matter in this persay) its really just a caution. Plus when the car is producing boost you will be more likely to use all your boost rather than the bov blowing it all off. later brian
