Guest Anonymous
In building my turbo l28.. I'm kinda wondering how well this will work. I've found a nice n42 block that has some Venolia turbo forged (dished) pistons. I've heard that combining dished pistons/n42 block with any of the p-heads (I'd use a p90 turbo) significantly lowers compression. The guy selling the block says the pistons make about 8.1-8.5:1 with a p90 head, this pistons are .010 oversized. The block has a good price on it, its been totally serviced and is painted, and the pistons are real nice, apr studs, and even a felpro headgasket included As far as I can see the block would work just fine. I'm just wondering what differences will compensate between using an n42 with turbo dished pistons and using an f54 w/ flattops, both with a p90 turbo. .02 please? 980mak
