v8dats Posted November 19, 2001 Share Posted November 19, 2001 well i finally worked on the car again.at first it burn the fuel pump relaybut after i changed that along with the plugs,cap and rotor the sucker started!!!i let it idle for about 10 minutes to blow all that black smoke out.after it cleared i gave it a couple of revs.this baby revs awesome and the turbo is very loud and i couldn,t hide i if i could.is there anyway i can find out what size turbo it is? i alsotook it sor a spin around the block.the car idles pretty rough and falls on its face when i give it more than half throttle;but i can ease on the gas and it will accelerate smoothly.is it the airflow meter?can i do something to eliminate this?
