Guest Anonymous
I also have 2 parts cars(80and81 280zx's) but I am looking to add a turbo onto the 80zx motor and I need to find an Exhaust manifold, t3, 300zx throttle body and other related parts for this application. P.S. If you need anything off these parts cars let me know I will soon be stripping what I need and sending them to the scrap yard. I will pretty much give the stuff away. scottyMIz
just about everyone is looking for turbo stuff.I have one on my car but that's where it's staying :)I heard of a place in muskegan that has like three turbo cars and i know of a place in holly that has one too.I don't know of anything right now that i need i have a 76 280z so the zx parts are kinda useless to me but i have two friends with n/a zx's 280's.I have a t3 but it needs a rebuild bad i had to replace it cuz it was leaking oil bad and i didn't know where to get a rebuild kit for it.The only reason i have it is just in case i need it for a core for my new hybrid turbo or else i'd just about give it away too.I have a 81 zxt but i used the motor in my car but if you want anything like gauges or anything(boost) you can have them.It is good to see another MI z guy i only know a few on the net but i met alot at the nissan z meet last year very nice cars everywhere. Scottie-GNZ
Be careful when buying used turbos in a scrap yard, especially ones that have been out in the elements for a long time. If the exhaust is off the car you could get lots of rust buildup in the turbine side and if the oil feed line is off or open, you could have moisture in the center section which will ruin the bearing.
