Guest Cusp
Ok fearless leader, I got a question for ya. I've scoured your site (the nissan-engine one) and I am getting ready for the installation of my NPR. I can't tell where you put your radiator fan at...you mention that the stock fan is pretty unusable, but it doesn't look like you put any fan on for the pics. You're in Florida, I know you had a fan on that sucker. So, what's the deal? Push or pull? Electric fan, or 3" clutch fan?
Scottie-GNZ
No need no stinkin fan! J/K Fans are hard to see in any of my pics but here is what it actually looked like. BTW, this pic was taken to show the size of the "big" NPR compared to a Z radiator. HTH.
BLKMGK
Heh, new here huh? Look at the Taurus 2speed fans and th eFord Cobra fans (seem to be single speed). These are dirt cheap in the yards, have a bit of a shroud, and my Cobra fan actually creates a BREEZE at the back of th ecar if the hood is up! It's been known to suck paper off the ground and stick it to my radiator too - it's awesome! Pics of th emounting is on my site but I owe the ideas to Pete. Guest Cusp
Thanks a bunch man. I guess it would have to be pullers with an oil cooler in front of the radiator. My, what a large intercooler you have.... Anybody know a good OEM fan or OEM dual fans that would work well on a rig like this? I'd hate to spend $250 on a few aftermarket fans, but summer's coming and I might have to.
