Guest Anonymous
Seeing the recent post for headers got me to thinking about headers for my '97 LT-1. I noticed that on the other posts they said those block huggers would not work with the angle plug heads that come on the LT-1. Does anyone have headers on their LT-1, what type, any long tubes available that fit nicely? Thanks for any suggestions. My LT-1 will be here next week, I hope to get started on my conversion by the end of the month. '97 TA LT-1 with 4L60e trans.
Guest Anonymous
OOOPS! I neglected to tell you it's all going in my 1972 240z. Thanks again, Charlie
Guest super280z
i have hooker blockhuggers on mine and they fit fine. make sure that you dont get 1-1/2" because the D-port heads dont like anything smaller than 1-5/8" the only long tubes that i can think of are from sanderson and there spensive. you're going to have to move the fan temp sensor on the pass side of the block. (i just took it out) mine's a 280zx but you should have about the same space. happy rodding.
Guest Anonymous
Also have the hooker block huggers. Work fine but spring for the ceramic coated ones. Mark
