Guest Anonymous
Okay I was thinking about this for awhile now. I have a 1984 300ZX N/A. The engine is garbage, I found a remanufactured engine with a 100K/ 36Mo warranty for around $1200. First is this a good deal for a stock VG30E. Second off I was eyeballing the supercharger setup off the SOHC 3.3L V6 Nissan Frontiers, the 2000 model. Does anyone have any clue if this super will bolt onto the stock VG30E? And If so, what kind of HP would I be expecting. This change out would also include changing over the Fuel Pump to a Stand alone unit with a Jegs Fuel Cell. Also the exhaust would have twin pipes going all the way back with a set of Borla Mufflers. Not sure what brand of header to get though. Guest Dan0myte
Here's a tip: Buy the entire Frontier engine. It's the VG33E in there, which will give you a nice power boost over the stock VG30E. With the supercharger added on to it, it would be a blast. The VG33E will bolt straight in to an '84 300ZX.
