Magnaflow muffler, dual in/dual out in one muffler!

Check this out guys, another exhaust system to contemplate. I have 2.5" duals all the way back on my '75 347 Ford powered 280Z. Under the tunnel, it's the usual 30" long 2.5" glasspacks. Nothing new there. My exhaust guy, who does mandrel bends, assures me that these are much better and higher flowing than the cheap Cherry-bomb-style 'packs. The power gain over my previous system, which was dual 2.0" pipes and dinky mini-turbos, was incredible. I think they are a bit to loud for my tastes, and will be even more when the glass gets blown out later. So I added an additional third muffler in the back in the stock position (no power loss, I assure you) Its a Magnaflow #12468 (http://www.magnaflow.com/03cat-back/03aluminized/03aluminized.htm Avail from Jegs). This is a glasspack (although stainless and glass wool) that is straight through. It's dual 2.5" in and dual 2.5" out all in one 4x8x18" case. Inside the tubes merge into one 3" perforated tube and then diverge back into two 2.5" tubes. The sound now is unique, it is very quiet in the midrange frequencies, and has a good, sporty tone in the upper range. The lower frequencies are pretty loud, I can feel the rumble through the ground.

If these pics don't load, try back later, Yahoo has download limits.

That's exactly what I did! But I used a Spintech muffler 3X9X14 dual 2 1/2 in and out. The muffler sits just in front of my diff. I also used a cross over befor it, and exhaust tips that have glass in them to help quit things down. It sounds great!
