Guest Anonymous
anyone know if i can use the cold start valve from an 80zx on my 77 280z. They are $115 in motorsport and i dont what to spend thousands replacing parts on my f.i. Also is there anyway to test if this is true cause of problem. I'm just going from previous owners word. Thanx in advance, Steve D www.my280zmail@yahoo.com
Guest 2adz
You can get that part much cheaper at http://nissanautoparts.com. The ZX will work but you can order the original from this site. My 1976 vavle cost about $99.00 from here.
Tony240ZT
Should be less than $20 at your local serve yourself yard. Make sure the wiring on your car is good first. I think there is a switch mounted in the thermostat housing, that should be checked as well. If you take it out, hook up some presured liquid then apply 12V accross the terminals it should shoot the liquid out. Car should start up a lot easier after you get it fixed. Guest Anonymous
hey dude, a company i have used before is Victoria British ltd. (http://www.victoriabritish.com) They probably have what your looking for. In any case, order a free catalog. they have almost every single part for 1970-1996 240Z-300ZX's. Their products can be expensive, but on some they are very fair.
