Guest jt240z
I just aquired a free AEM (unused) universal fuel pressure regulator (P/N 25-302R) and I though it would make a good match for my custom fuel rail. I have some questions before I begin my installation: 1: Just to make sure that my understanding of operation is correct, here is the way I understand the interconnection of parts to be, using this regulator: Fuel Tank Outlet-> Fuel Pump-> Fuel Filter-> Fuel Rail-> To either side inlet of FPR(25-302) out the bottom port of FPR to Fuel return line-> Fuel Tank Inlet. Please let me know if my understanding is wrong. 2: What are the fittings used to connect the inlets and outlet ports to -6AN hose? 3: What do you use to block off the unused inlet port? Any help I can get on this would be greatly appreciated.
SHANE
your routing is correct. if your regulator is like the paxton one then you would use o-ring boss fittings. on mine i used -10 o-ring boss plug, -10 o-ring boss to -8AN adapter.
