Guest Anonymous
I was looking at the newest VB catalog and they show a zx injector whose tip looks larger than the z fi....not very clear... maybe just an o-ring installed. I plan to install a zx intake with 76z injectors, new o-rings, and a new fuel rail which will require a zx regulator. Any problems? Will I have to install zx injectors? I plan to have theses 9 year old injectors (30k miles)cleaned and balanced/matched if they're still good. Thanks.
Nigel
The Z and ZX injectors are identical. No modifications are necessary. Why the ZX manifold? Some of the early 280Z intake manifolds don't have an egr port on them and are consequently desirable. Don't know if this is the case with yours though... Guest Anonymous
Thanks Nigel. I'm selling mine to a friend and getting the zx unit already ported for the larger tb. It worked out for both of us. Mine doesn't have the egr port since it is federal.
