TomoHawk
As an alternative/replacement to the charcoal cannister under the hood, what other methods can be used to vent the fuel tank without venting ALL the fuel into the air? I'm trying to lose weight over the front wheels and clean up the engine compartment. This thing is a beast at low speeds without the power steering! JohnG
Hey Zach, I'm curious....how will switching to a fuel cell keep exhaust fumes from getting into the cockpit? --John G.
Guest kc6wfs
I have mine crimped off. (thanks Tim240Z) ) They will drip if you are nose down on a incline with the rear jacked up! Dave
Guest Anonymous
I vented my tank to the charcoal canister. All other lines other than feed line are capped off. I thought I needed a vent so a vacuum will not form while driving. Do I need this vent? Also why does a vacuum hiss come from a stock datsun 240/60/80 when you open gas cap? You would think the canister vent would prevent a vaccuum in the tank.
