First off, id like to say hi to yall and congradulate you on a great resource for anyone who has/wants frown.gif a GTO or for that matter any type of datsun.

Being rather new to the gto idea other than extensive online research, i still have a few questions lingering.

1. Cost, how much did it take to build?, including everything, from the donor car to headlight rings. Being on the younger (highschool rockon.gif ) and poorer end of the scale i need to be very price concious.

2. where to buy from?, are there any old unused kits for sale?, otherwise what company?, JOhn Washington sounds like a great man to do buisness with, but i would like to do a coupe and am not sure if the VR requires mods if u decide to do so. Again price comes into play with this idea also.

Any answers would be great, and thank you again for such a great place to learn about the world of GTO replicias

John

John Washington may fix you up with a coupe. The best way is to find an unfinished kit. They come up on eBay and it seems evreytime they are offered a Hybrid member snags it. if you hve done research then you know about Dick Goodman's.. I would say.. about $6000.00 to get a fairly stock one from scratch built on the road with about $2000.00 spent on a good donar. If you are young I would just concentrate on a bare bones set up with a Z daily driver experience for a few years brfore a kit conversion.Stable auto Works is reputable but the experience that I had with Thunder Ranch kit was not favorable. (Warped fiberglass)
