Moridin
PDK Fabrications was nice enough to start a run of dashes if we find enough interest. As I understand it, we need 10 or more people for either dash to get it made. They can do either a fiberglass one, which will run $600 to $700, or a carbon fiber one that will run around $900. The will also do consoles if enough interest is shown. Again, I think they can do either fiberglass or carbon fiber. Personall, I'd go for a carbon fiber dash and console. Anyone else interested and willing to lay down the cash?
Guest Anonymous
I would be interested in a carbon fiber console.
280Zen
I'd be interested in a carbon fiber, but my parts money is tapped for another month or so!
Moridin
Anyone else? Come on guys, it would be lighter, cooler, and cheaper than a new dash from Nissan. Anyways, just trying to get some interest going.

280Zen
one quick question, which year dash are we talking about here?
Moridin
I only know its for a 240. The heater controls and vents are not in place. Check PDK Fabrication for a little more info.
Guest Anonymous
wait.. this is for the 240 only? i have a 280z..
Moridin
They are specifically for a 240, but I'm not sure about the fitment on a 280. There are no pre-cut vent holes or anything to do with the HVAC. Maybe someone can help with this.
Guest ON3GO
so whats going on with this? im still in if i get my money. how much is it gonna be? mike
rc's240z
Guys this is really a racing part, it is not designed for HVAC. It would most likely fit a 280. Our mold is based off of a 72 dash however. The other difficult thing here is that we would need to see an order for 10 of the fiberglass or 10 CF dashes, i can't mix and match based on the difference of construction of both forms of the dash. In order to make these affordably it is necessary to make them in an assembly line fashion. Thanks! Ron
280Zen
Guys this is really a racing part, it is not designed for HVAC Oh, bummer, not really what I was looking for. Sorry Im bowing out.
jt1
Is this going to happen? I'd buy a CF dash. John
Moridin
I don't know. I'm still interested. I think a dash and a center console would just be plain sick.
Guest Anonymous
I must be missing something. I have found full dashboard covers in the "VICTORIA BRITISH" catalog priced at $89.95 for example?
