Guest ON3GO
Hey guys. well i did a search on yahoo today and i found this car importing company thats imports supras, to evo's to Bluebirds. So i asked if they had a old Fairlady Z and they said not at the moment but they have a 1994 Bluebird SSS, AWD, SR20DET, 5-speed, you know the works. its already got a front end body kit, and a spoiler. Has some other goodies and low miles.. he said something like 24K. its also that skyline blue color. If you dont know what a Bluebird is, then if you have even seen a 1st gen Altima...well it looks like that but very very mean, and vert fast. he only wants 14K with it imported to my house and everything, street legal too he said..i gotta do more research on that but ill take his word for it. anways should i do that? or just build a Z? both would be different, both fast. thanks for your imput. mike
CruxGNZ
I like to be different, so I would get the Bluebird, BUT you will have to look into how much it will cost to insure a Z compared to the Bluebird. That may be the deciding factor for you. You might just want to stick with building a Z though, because parts are easy to find and you have A LOT of help with questions here. FYI- I will have no more than $8k invested in my car when it's all done, and that's including the price of the car. !M!
Guest ON3GO
man 8K? i figured its gonna be over 20K but under 25K to do my 240Z project. thats why im thinking of the Bluebird. insuring either one would be about the same, sense both would be only driven once awhile, and i would drive my 240sx instead. SR20DET parts are easy to come buy, but i would think the Bluebird parts would be alot harder. thanks for your imput. mike
