Guest Mark N(Houston)
I saw a 240z with a Ford 302 in it and was wondering what kind of power it would put out? Also, what is the HP/TQ potential of these engines (I'm not too familiar about the 302)? Here is the info I have on the engine: 1985 Ford 302/5.0 HO 4V Engine (Rebuilt)… Engine Gasket Kit… Cobra Valve Covers… Polished Oil Pan… New Edelbrock Performer Manifold… New Edelbrock 650cfm Performer Carburetor… New Summit 140gph Billet Fuel Pump Sys… New Edelbrock Air Cleaner… New Water Pump… New 1980 Ford Bronco Motor Mounts… New SVO Fuel Pump Block-Off Plate… Thanks! Mike kZ
Are the internals stock? If so that engine put out 210hp back in '85. So right now it maybe at 250hp. http://home.pon.net/hunnicutt/history_eng.htm
Guest Mark N(Houston)
Thanks for the link. As far as I know it was rebuilt back to stock specs. It's for sale, and that's all the info I for now... Thanks for the help!

Guest Mark N(Houston)
Yes, that is probably the same car...I saw it zcar.com! Do you know anything about it? It looked like a very "interesting" car with sidepipes and powder blue interior pieces!!!!!!!! Would you be willing to check it out for me, if I decide to pursue it further? Thanks! Guest Look A Z
LOL! Yeah same exact car. I might be buying it soon. Another hybridZ member and I are going to take a look at the car soon. It needs work to get it running though. A lot of wiring.
Guest Mark N(Houston)
Ah, I was hoping it would a least run enough to get it on a truck and have it shipped, but it doesn't sound like it. Sounds like it will have to be someone local needs to buy it!!! Good luck!
Guest Look A Z
Wire the front head lights. Wire up the front turn lights. Wire up fuel gauge. Replace the front break caliper break line, the small one. Needs speed-o gear and cable for the new T5 5-speed transmission. Adjust the fuel regulator to match carb needs. I have a new seal kit for the car but it still needs door seals. Wire the lights to dash gauges. Finish adding water, oil, and transmission fluid, break fluid and gas. Hook up the radiator hoses. Hood needs hold-down pins for there is no more stock latch. Add seat belts. Add horn and wire up the horn.
