ratedZ Posted March 30, 2003 Share Posted March 30, 2003 Hey guys, well the IC works and I took it for a quick spin. The first run went really well at 10psi...instantly felt the difference. BUT when I came home, my wife wanted to go for a ride and some problems developed. I noticed that it only boosted 3psi and when the BOV opened, it only opened for a split second. I pull over to check and see if I blew a hose or something...but everything looked fine. I revved the motor and normally the blow off valve would discharge but it didn't. I paid closer attention to the rubber hose coming from the intake to the turbo....I noticed that it would flutter and vibrate everytime I let go of the throttle (you can here it flutter at WOT under load). Sooo, I put two and two together and figured that the turbo is not boosting for some reason....any ideas where I need to look? My brother was kind enough to point out that one of the friggen vaccum hose directly under the throttle body has blown out. Apparantly I forgot to zip tie it.....DUH!
