Z-Driver
I'm pretty new to car engine building so I'm not all that sure on some things. Piston compression ratios and carb size give me the biggest problems. I also want to have the option to use about a 150hp shot of nitrous for the track. Forged or Hyper? How would a motor with this setup work out? What kind of torque and power #'s would I be looking at to the wheels through a TH350 and an R200 ? 350 2-bolt block Vortec heads 64cc Roller Rockers 9.73 compression forged pistons Air Gap manifold 625 Road Demon carb HEI distributer
ToplessZ
Your definatly going to want a 4spd auto with overdrive either a 700r4 or 200r4 if you plan on doing any driving over 65. Looks like a decent start with that combo.
Guest Anonymous
What you get out of what you build with depends on a secret ingredient called "Time".....Time spent on study of the basics of each area where you intend to strike! In other words, "Research". You can throw stuff at the build and try your luck or you can match/tune the combination for maximum results. Guess who will be out front at the track or whatever? If you're in a hurry then good luck (and you may have it), but if you have the time then all you can ask will be found either in a Forum such as this one or by searching online using the proper key words. Later.....
