Guest shane280z
Hi. My experience once with a 302 that was overheating was a poorly sealing radiator cap. That was it. I had to put one on rated for much higher pressure then 21 Lbs and lucky me got one from a friends race shop rated at 28 Lbs. That put an end to the overheating because of a poor sealing cap. You say basically 'all is good... WaterPump , ThermoStat, Hoses without leaks, and a good headgasket . What I would do is use a Radiator Vacuum Presure Tester rated for the pressure of your current 4row radiator and thereby check the entire cooling system for leaks resulting from air pockets to a blown head to a seiged waterpump bearing to a faulty thermostat. This is the ONLY test instrument that I am aware that will present you with 100per-cent accurate information as to what may really be going on here. Goodluck. HappyTrails. shane-
