Guest 280steveX
the radiator is a little crusty inside, maybe go out by end of year. should i swap out the heater core at the same time before winter? same w/ hoses, they seem to be same age & the last thing anybody needs is antifreeze inside the car. Guest silverbullet
Personally I think it is a good idea if you plan on keeping the car long term, I also am planning on replacing the heater core and hoses(already have the hoses) when I fix the A/C this summer in my 77. Guest greimann
It would be a good idea. A car that old will eventually need new hoses and a core. Be aware that it is a BITCH of a job, requiring the entire disassembly and removal of the instrument panel (dash) and HVAC system. Plan on 2 days if you have never done this before.
