weatherstrip q & a

Well, I've pulled all my carpet out, sanded everything, and started fixing rust, and it was when I was washing off the car that I noticed... THE LEAKS... I have one apparently sliding down the passenger side door, and a couple in the rear hatch. I have a 79 280ZX, without t-tops... I have seen the prices on weatherstrip, and I was wondering if I could use caulk or something like that to fix the leaks, or did I have to buy entirely new weatherstrip. I don't have a garage, so I have to work on this car outdoors. I really need to get these leaks fixed.
