Guest Anonymous
I've pretty much decided this is the way to go with my Z. I think I can get it done for a reasonable cost. How is reliability in changes like this? I know the change is involved but how hard is it really?
Guest Anonymous
What are you trying to since my curiosity is way up concerning "D"
BLKMGK
He must mean the VB conversion... Firsdt, get the JTR book. Read it. IMO this conversion is not nearly as "involved" as it might sound. Once I had my parts together it didn't take me all that long working evenings during the Winter to do it. If I had to do it again I could go MUCH faster. Seriously, most of us ahve figured out where the bumps are in the road and have paved them - I think this is a pretty easy swap. As for reliability - depends on how wild the drivetrain you pick is. Once dialed in I see no reason why a V8 Z isn't reliable - in facxt if it's not raining I may drive mine to work tomorrow!
