Jwink25
I saw their "400 performance module" and was wondering if it really gives you any more HP. I have a 94 Ford Probe GT. Jegs says they make one for that car. It says it modifies various sensor outputs up to 40 times a sec. It sends these modified signals to your computer and "incresses HP" They also warn you about the drop in mileage, and it has a switch to turn it off...so you can pass the smog test. Anyone ever use one of these? Is it about the same as changing to an aftermarket computer chip? It costs about $300. I was wanting to add a bit more zip to my daily driver...damn ricers are getting a little more faster around here...must be the extra stickers and bigger wings. Thanks, Jason
Guest greimann
I did a google on Venom 400 and from what I can see it is voodoo B.S. Especially for $300. Spend your money on real performance enhacments like intake, exhaust, cylinder heads, cams, etc. Things that increase volumetric efficiency are the real deal. Vague descriptions of questionable electronics are designed to do only one thing: Separate you from your cash.
Jwink25
Thanks for the input. I would like to get headers for my car. Just have to come up with about $600. I have found some intake spacer/insulaters for $70 I think. Cooler intake air...need to look into to this some more. Claims 5-8 HP.
