bmw240z
I know this is suppose to go into the ingition board but not to many poeple go there like here, so I needed a fast reply. So I need your help. I just bought the autometer volt gauge and have already disconnected the stock 240z amp/fuel gauge. I have been connecting the new volt gauge diff. ways, I put the negative volt wire onto the gauge the way it says and the positive wire on the gauge the way it says also. OK, the volts go up to about 12. But I get no power to the ignition or gauges "no lights, and the needle on the autometer fuel gauge does'nt go up". But when I put a little piece of wire to running to the negative to the postive volt wires, I have power to the lights and the fuel needle goes up and I have power to the ignition, But the volt gauge does not read anything "needle doesnt move, just stays down" The wires that were connected to the stock 240z amp/fuel gauge. There were 3 of them, black, red/yellow, yellow. Am i suppose to connect these somehow and where. Your Help Will Be Deeply Appreciated, Thanks, T MAN
