Guest ravindave_3600
How's this for a problem - my '76 has a real gasoline smell. I took it to my mechanic (who's a good guy, and I trust him) and he says the original injectors are still in there, with the original hoses, and they're leaking all over and need to be replaced. Makes sense, right? So why am I still getting about 22 mpg on the road? You'd think bad injectors would give bad mpgs, right? Any tips on what to do, or how to do it cheaply, would be appreciated!
