Graeme
Hi again guys, I have finally got the engine and gearbox in, and the exhaust done yesterday. But I am concerned about the gearbox crossmember. I have done it the same as JTR but the floor seems very thin and I am concerned the floor will get ripped out. there is no rust in the floor. The exhaust place seems to think the same as me. Does anyone have a different way of securing the gearbox? thanks Graeme.

I think he used some "doubler plates" or something to thicken the area and then mounted it, but I could be wrong. The search function may reveal some threads about this topic in the past. Guest Carlissimo
My crossmember picks up the stock 240-Z clevises and rubber bushings. Since this is way forward of the tranny mount, I picked up 4 of the lower case bolts on the tranny. Have had no problems with it after many years.
