Guest Anonymous
I was wondering if anyone has experience with the conversion parts available from PAW (performance automotive warehouse) They offer headers from Hooker and also engine and trans mounts. Has anyone tried these parts before and how is the quality.
SpeedRacer
Jim, The PAW Hooker kit is the old Scarab kit and mounts the motor to far forward and to high. You would be better off with the JTR kit (buy the book) http://www.jagsthatrun.com/Pages/Datsun_Z_V-8.html If you don't use angle plug heads you can use Hooker "Block Hugger" headers. Guest Fast Frog
I actually bought my Hooker block huggers from PAW 5 yrs ago. I could have saved $30-$40 if I'd purchased them from JEGS (1-800-345-4545). Also check your local GM dealership for GM OEM engine & tranny mounts-they're not that expensive. Good luck!
