Guest alfman240z
i got my z and all the basics are pulled off of it (lights panels seats ect..) but i wanted to know whats the easiest way to clean the undercarriage of my car. i know steam is good but my acces to car steamers is very limited. i was thinking a pressure washer att 3000+psi wiht a bit of cleaning solution (basic degreaser), to shot awaay all the dirt and cracked on crap on the bottom of my car then re coat it with an undercarriage protectant thing. sound like a good idea or is there somehitng better? of course this would all take place after the engine was removed and probably the rear end as well. Guest chip
not sure how far you want to take it down. I just had my whole unibody sand/soda blasted. We used sand on the bottom and inside, soda on all the body panels. Car is bare metal now. Cost was 600.00. More than I wanted to spend but now I have a clean slate to start the build up with.
