Guest Slvrhase
I have finally got around to shooting the primer-surfacer, I used PPG's K36 primer. I have a few areas that appear to need some body filler. Is there any filler that can be used over K36? I checked the product sheets on PPG's website but there is no mention of using filler over this primer. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks to all! snork
k-36 is meant to go over body filler. this is a great product, has good mil thickness build and sands pretty nice. to get straight as possible, apply OVER body fill, and dry sand till you see spots of body fill showing through the surfacer. apply a few more coats and sand till smooth( final sand with 500 wet IMO). k-36 can also be a sealer if reducer is added. great stuff!!
