DFI and the such...what is out there and what to expect?

so im in the planning stages for a L28T motor for a 240z. i know i could make life easy and just use the 280zx turbo ECU and distributor et al...or even splice in a Z31 turbo ECU (somehow) but i have to think there is an cleaner way in the end. TEC2? maybe something like it? what are the choices and what would be needed to install it (ie special distributor, tps, mafs or coil packs). i have no clue what is involved and hoping some of you out there can fill me in and and let me know what to expect with needed parts and pricing and pain-in-the-ass factor.
