I'm going to be buying a 82' ZX 2+2 in a month or so, and i was wondering if anyone has a good price to HP number for the 350-383. Im looking to try and stay around 1500 for the engine alone (oil pan and such included in the price). The transmission wil most likly be a pulled T56. This car will not be a daily driver, but more of a weekend / crusier car, so i could live with a rough idle and low gas milage(15mpg). That said, I'll need to be starting my read of grumpy's links. I think $1,500 is certainly do-able, especially if you take the preferred route and buy a wrecked Camaro, parting out the pieces you're not going to use.
