I was wondering if I could get some information from you guys that installed a 350ci in your 280ZX.

I want to know how difficult it is and what parts I will need to complete the job. Will I need to get any parts custom made?

Thanks for your help guys.

All of that is tough to cover in one response, but here are some generalities:

How tough? No major chassis cutting or welding. The toughest part is the wiring, plumbing engine building, tuning, problem solving and re-doing. Oh yea, paying for it too. It all boils down to how good are you with cars and fabricating?

What parts are required? Too many to list here. I don't have an itemized list, but think about it. You have to re-engineer almost every system that connects the engine to the car. That takes brackets, hoses, wires, bolts.... etc.

The major custom made parts are the driveshaft and exhaust system. Almost everything else can be built in a garage with an average set of tools.

Use the search function and ask specific questions that can be answered in one post.
