Guest DueceDawgyDogg
Has anyone tried to put a T-56 six speed on a 302 or 351? I know they sell adapter kits for older motors that had a four speed to run a T-5, but was curious about a six speed.
Guest bluex_v1
http://www.drivetrain.com/fordt56inst.html not Z specific, but hopefully it has some useful stuff for you.
Zeventy8
Hot Rod (or some similar publication) had an article within the last two months about McCloud coming out with modular adaptors to mount the newer T56 to just about any engine produced in the last forty years. They are already finishing up on the older chevy sm block and big block chevys and 5.0 Fords are to follow. There was also a chart listing BOP availability for those who simply must have a 6-spd 442 (462 ?) and Ford and Dodge engines of all sizes. Best to give them a call!
