I have the engine and tranny and just got my z engine out and am starting the modifications on the car I need to get the engine in. (per JTR book) I am about to purchase the following from JTR: DAT-200 Mounting Kit for $295 4L60-gears Speedometer gear set for $49 4L60-004 Clamp assembly for speedo gear for $35 4L60-003 40 tooth reluctor ring with 1.3" ID (after I measure the shaft diameter) for $90 This comes up to $469 before shipping. Am I headed in the right direction? I plan on relocating the reluctor ring to the governor area passenger side as shown in the JTR manual. What's the deal with the transmission mounted park/neutral/reverse switch? Is this something I need to do? Do I get it all from GM? Any ideas on cost?
