Guest Craig280z
I bought the two motor mounts and the transmission mount from the GM dealer. They charged me $200 for these pieces. $50 each for the motor mounts and $80 for the tranny mount. I am going to try to take the motor mounts back tomorrow because I found out that these are like $15 anywhere else. They probably won't take back the transmission mount since they had to order it. It's not even in yet. I didn't even get any vaseline on this deal. Craig
Guest kc6wfs
Hi Craig, You will probably want to keep them. The aftermarket ones are a LOT harder rubber. I bought mine from the dealer also and have been very happy with the lack of driveline vibarations. Dave
danj
Ditto to Dave's suggestion. JTR says to use Chevy part #3990332 motor mount, and only genuine Chevy tranny mounts to avoid excess noise and vibration. Dan H.
Guest 1fastz
yup andyou can kiss that mount goodbye in a short time if you run your car hard or at the drag stip. there is a reason aftermarket ones use harder rubber. stock ones TEAR easily
