76 harness in 74 ??

Sounds like a headache. You'll need FSMs for both years to really figure out what is what.

Do the obvious: Check for blown fuse. Look for disconnected connector on steering column or under dash in passenger footwell (I think that's wher flasher relay is). I've labelled most of the relays with magic marker as I've worked on mine. It's pretty confusing even with FSM and decent sized diagrams. It's a nightmare without. FSM has long section with item-by-item diagrams for most electrical circuits. Beats trying to trace wires in reduced size diagram in Hayes.

Good luck,

Al

I now have Headlights, interior lights, hazard lights, and parking lights,

highbeams /lowbeams work, license plate light works, but NO turnsignals.

I did notice I have a front side marker light out on drivers side, and no activity in the blinker relay. I will replace the bulb and the relay tomorrow

and see what happens
