Guest EnthuZiast
I have been struggling with replacing my handbrake and it isn't working. I have been following my Chilton's manual and I am beginning to feel that it's good for little to nothing. I'm confused where it tells me to remove the two bolts from the lever and pull out the cable out through the passenger compartment. When I remove the two bolts, nothing happens. I was expecting the lever mechanism to lift out of the floor and this definately did not happen. Furthermore, I don't understand how the cable will actually manage to pull through. And from the looks fo the replacement cable (Vic.Brit.) I don't see how I will be able to thread that back through. I know I'm a Z-Car Loser and all that , but I could use some wisdom from those of you who are cooler than me. Thanks Guys! Noah

Guest EnthuZiast
The one thing that is giving me trouble is the front lockplate. I don't know how to remove it. Thanks scanning the page! Noah
