Heavy Z
I pulled up to Kragans today for a few things and a red supercharged streetrod was just leaving, so I thought I'd follow along for a bit to have a better look and to see if it was (yep) the same one I had raced about six months back. We both are now on a one way street side-by-side at 35 mph with no traffic and we hit it. Despite his rod having ultra-fat tires, all I can see is his car fishtailing in my rear-view mirror as I pull away. The light ahead is red so I slow down and we have a moment to talk. "The car is useless on the street without drag tires," he said. He asked if it my Z had a V8 and so on, I told him his car was really cool and split back to Kragans. A '47 is what I think the clerk said it was, big block ford with 872 horsies. Last time we raced was from a stop light, same results. He said he went through all four gears smoking them trying to catch up. What a sound that thing made!! For me, a great lesson about power and pavement. Guest bastaad525
looks like the thing truck drivers use to split shift their trannies....
Heavy Z
If you saw the movie Mad Max or the Road Warrior, that switch'll look familiar. I got it to activate a nitrous system. Bastaad525 nailed it's original use, though.
