Guest smoov280zx
I've been playing the demo of Live for Speed over and over since it came out last year, and I just bought the newly released "S1"(more stuff) version today. If you own a decent computer and like racing at all, you NEED to at least try the demo. I'm sure alot of you have played the demo, but the pay version is well worth the measely 12 british pounds(about 16-19 dollars i believe) for a total of 7 cars that all handle better than any game you ever played, i promise you . The pay version also includes a skidpad, a drag strip, a large parking lot to make your own autocross course with cones, and 3 other "areas" total. Each area has at least 4 variations, the tight city track having about 8(forward and reversed) the longest of which is about 4.5 miles in length, a 4:36 laptime when you dont know where youre going. Two of the areas also have rally x tracks, but i havent touched them yet. No, i wasnt paid to post this. I'm telling you because the last racing game that impressed me this much was grand prix legends, and if you have a computer and any kind of analog controller, you NEED to try this. Plus if this does well they'll release more cars and more tracks. $16 for a game with better physics than anything you can find on a retail shelf, not that ea or codemasters arcade "simulation" crap. I guess im done. BTW its www.liveforspeed.com(easiest way to find it) My eyes are burning, back to the track.... BTW: Every car is COMPLETELY tweakable in terms of suspension and gears.
