Guest Anonymous
Hey Guys; I am down to choicing wheels for my ride but came up with a problem. I upgraded the front brakes with the Modern Motorsports( Ross Corigan) vented rotor and S12W 4 piston caliper and it seems to be that the caliper sticks out past the wheel mounting plate on the hub by about 5/8". I am thinking of going with a 15" or 16" wheel and hoped to stay away from using a spacer plate. The brake upgrade is great, will look slick through a 5 spoke. I know there are a lot of these same brake upgrades out there and I am wondering what you guys did with this problem. Thanks for the help Peter
Guest tom sixbey
are the spokes on your new wheels you're looking at flush on the backside with the mating surface? - if so than you got a clearance issue, however, if the spokes "push out" to the outside of the wheels away from the mating surface you may be ok... unfortunately this entails looking at the insides of the wheels before you make your choice....
