660Z Posted June 5, 2002 Share Posted June 5, 2002 Im in the prosses of getting my drive shaft made and as i was looking through catolog for the neapco driveshaft adapter i saw quite a few adapters...so looking back at this i wondered has any one tried to adapt halfshafts to chevy u joints? the countersink ring is 1-3/4. im searching for alteretives since z`s are hard to find in my part of the woods.although i was able to find two r200`s out of state.thanks for the input. Guest 1fastz Posted June 5, 2002 Share Posted June 5, 2002 no matter what you do to the adaptor you will only strengthen one side of the ujoint as the other side the side that atualy is on the shaft will still be the week datsun size.
