sx240z
Hi guys, I need help guys, well I'm trying to install my clutch but the springs on the disc are hitting the flywheel bolts. Has this happened to anyone else? Well my flywheel is a 18 lb 153 tooth made by AMSracing and I'm using the correct flywheel bolts I bought from kragen and I know my stock clutch disc is still good. I'm hoping it's not the flywheel cuz I don't want to go through the hassle of selling it and buying another. Any Ideas? Thanks! Heavy Z
You may have your disk flipped around, double check because if you try to put it in backwards it'll do the same thing you describe.

Guest Phil1934
Hays flywheels are shallow on the recess depth. I'd just buzz the bolt heads thinner with a grinder. Performance clutch discs have more springs of smaller diameter so this is not a problem.
Guest cbrunberg
Hey, I think I'd call the place you bought the flywheel and ask what clutch disk you need for the application. Carl
