ASA240Z Posted August 23, 2003 Share Posted August 23, 2003 Please help me. I have a 72 Z with the standard L24 motor. Every time after drive for a while, parking and turning it off, the motor begins to jump or ping as if it wants to run. Is this normal, how can i fix this problem? I also notice a problem with my rpm gauge, ONLY on really hot days my rpm guage goes wierd, when i run the motor the gauge reads redline and then 1000 rpms and back to redline and never reads the REAL rpms.
