jonzer12
If the body isn't bad and the repairs are already underway than buy it, for 100 dollars?? Worst comes to worst, you drag it back and a few weeks later you decide its not the z for you, so strip the car, sell of the parts easily make your $100 investment back, plus some cash for your time and keep some rare or especially good condition parts for yourself. I say if you have the time go get it.
Sumo
Get the car, worse comes to worse it becomes a parts car. Jus make sure to check the frame rails and floor boards for rust. Rust under the battery tray is common. It's really getting hard to find clean 70-78 Z's now unless you pay major $$$. 8)
baddriver
v8 guy: are you going to buy a car from a dude around fort dodge? If so, I think I know who is selling it. What it's worth is up to you, but if you decide you want to part it out, I can come by and buy some parts from you, I'm in Cedar Falls, IA. I have a long 'wish list' and have been looking for some parts. Drop me a line if you get the car or just want to talk shop. There is also a good import salvage yard in Homestead, I've been trying to find time to plan a trip. Jeff. england@uni.edu
