Injector leaking down?

Hey folks, I'm having a bit of a problem with my '75 that I installed the L28ET into. About 4 months ago I installed a set of the Sherco injectors along with a custom fuel rail. Everything was fine, and worked well for quite a while. Now, on the first start of the day, or after sitting for a few hours, when I fire it up, I have a miss for about a minute, and then it clears up. Car starts right away after it sits, but it has that miss. I performed basic diagnostics, all injectors were operating, but a timing light test proved that #4 was not firing. I pulled #4 and it reaked of gas. I cleaned the plug, and all was well for a few days, and then the miss came back when I strated the car again. If I run the car for a while, and only let it sit for an hour or so, there's no miss, but it takes a bit longer cranking to get it lit off. I suspect an injector leaking down, but I wanted to get some other opinions before I go and buy more injectors. If it is a bad one, should I replace all 6? I have goten a price on new Standard brand injectors for 53.99 ea. and was thinking about getting those if I need to. No more Sherco rebuilds for me. Let me know what you think.

Sounds like you have a leaking injector. I too bought sherco injectors for my 83 zxt and had one bad one. Pull all the injectors but leave them connected to the fuel rail. Pressurize the system by turning on the fuel pump and watch for a drip. Replace the bad injector. As cheap as they were I don't have any problem with one bad injector.
