Guest Nic-Rebel450CA
I am making preparations to begin my Hybrid conversion. As some of you already know, my 70Z currently has the following setup: 1981 280 engine (F54 block, P79 head)Twin Round-Top SU's1981 280 5-speed transmissionCustom single exhaust with Superflow straight-thru muffler.I will have TQ and HP specs soon. Now, I am wondering if I should try to sell this all together as a package deal (would make a really good-priced swap for someone that wants a nice N/A L28 setup), or should I part everything out? Which way would sell fastest? Most money?
Guest Neil
I'll tell you, I'm trying to sell my newly rebuilt L28 with new tripple webbers out of my 76 280 and am not having much luck. Of couse nobody wants to buy it here so I've posted it on some other "more traditional" Z sites. Nothing yet though. I think in less your willing to almost give it away, you might have a hard time unloading it. Thats purely speaking on my experience. Guest Nic-Rebel450CA
Ya, but that is a better setup that you have and is more expensive (triple webbers). I would probably be selling my entire setup (engine, trans, and exhaust) for somewhere in the ballpark of $1000.
