Guest greimann Posted October 2, 2003 Share Posted October 2, 2003 There is very little room for anything that is more than 1/8" or 1/4" higher than the support. It tucks up there very tight. I don't have my car anymore but have spent a lot of time messing around up there. You probably have your hood off now, but the way I check hood clearance issues is with modeling clay. Put several small pyramids of clay on the thing you want to check and slam the hood closed. Measure the height of the squished clay and you have your clearance.
