S30Z Bushido Posted October 15, 2003 Share Posted October 15, 2003 wont happen theyre saving it for the new skylinetill they decide what theyre going to put in the new skyline (as far as bringin it to te US) i dont think well see anymore turbo nissans in the us Nissan has released the new Skyline, it have a VQ35DE. it's sold in North America as the Infiniti G35 and G35C. if you mean the powerplant for the new GTR... it will be powered by a VQ32DETT putting out in the neighborhood of 480ps with electromagneticly controlled wastegates and dry sump lubrication as well as a plethora of other hi-tech features. Nissan has trademarked the name "350Z-R" so i believe we will see a more powerful VK or supercharged VQ version from the factory within the next few years, after the novelty starts to wear off and sales start to slow down.
