Did not remember this HybridZ thread until I got home otherwise I probably would have asked the doc a few more questions. However, contrary to the mythbusters opinion, the doc says that when he was in dental school they did a demonstration with a baby tooth (presumable shed naturally from its previous owner) in which the tooth DISAPPEARED after a few days. The hygenist chimed in with a similar account using a nail.
