Guest zfan
I have a 355 sbc/700r4 combo that Im having idle problems with. I have a 700r4 with a holeshot converter 2300/2500 stall, the cam is a hyd.roller 222/230..505/510 with 110 lobe seperation. Im running a Weiand dual plane and holley dbl pumper 750 when I set the idle in nuetral at 1100/1200 it only gives me 650/700 in gear. Does this seem right? Im making 13 to 14 pounds vacuum at this point. Am I wrong is this right? I figured to lose 150 to 200 rpm's going from nuetral to in gear. Im running a much smaller cam than before and went from single plain to dual plain intake. I guess I could go for 1200/1300 rpm idle to get in gear idle set right. But that does not seem right. Any guesses or imput would be appreciated. Mike
